::Product Review:: NoseFrida: The Snotsucker! + Giveaway
FridaBaby provided me with a NoseFrida to review and give away in exchange for my honest review. TL;DR: It's amazing.
The NoseFrida is my all-time favorite baby product - and that's why it's included in the Our Favorite Things Giveaway - enter for free! It makes those pitiful runny noses a little happier so they can breathe easier. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and much less scary to a baby than those bulbs you stick up their noses.
By the way, have you seen those pictures where they cut open the bulb syringe to show the mold inside? :shudder:
My baby got several bad colds when he was very young. I was scared when it sounded like he couldn't breathe because of the mucus in his nose. So, out came the bulb syringe. The ordeal ended with both of us crying, because the poky end of the syringe had irritated the inside of his nose and caused a nosebleed.
The NoseFrida does not go inside the baby's nose. It is powered by your own suction. You simply put the end up against the baby's nostril and suck on the mouthpiece at the other end of the tube. Gross? Nah. There is a little filter that ensures no snot gets in your mouth. When you're done, you just throw the filter away and stick in a new one.
